Our Mission statement sets out what we strive to do for our pupils on a day to day basis:

We work in close partnership with parents and carers so that every child can fulfil their potential."

Our Sunnymede Values underpin everything we do. We believe these are values which will help our pupils throughout all aspects of life. They are:

We work in partnership with our Governing Body to review the strategic direction of the school on a regular basis. We revisited our Vision Statement in 2019. This sets out our strategic priorities for the next 3 years: 

Our vision for Sunnymede Infant School is reflected in the phrase

“Learning and growing together to ensure every child achieves their full potential”

• A strong message of a healthy lifestyle in all its aspects is promoted throughout the curriculum (RSHE scheme, mental health, spirituality, forest school, PE, food, Zones of Regulation)

• Teaching and learning take place through a broad, progressive, curriculum which enables children to retain knowledge, understanding and skills which equip them well for the next stage of learning and the wider world.

• Robust systems enable parents to engage with the school staff and governors so that feedback about the school informs evaluation and improvement.

• The expectations, strategies and processes of the school ensure that staff retention and well-being continues to be high.
