Our mission statement expresses what we strive to do on a daily basis for our pupils:

"At Sunnymede Infant School we prepare our pupils to meet the challenges of the future through our high standard of teaching and learning. We meet the needs of all our pupils, guiding and nurturing them with stimulating and inspirational teaching. We work in close partnership with parents and carers so that every child can fulfil their potential."

Sunnymede is a happy and successful school.  We share the responsibility with you, for educating your child academically, socially and morally.  We also share your expectation that your child will be encouraged to achieve a level of excellence in every aspect of the curriculum.

We are very proud of our school, its welcoming atmosphere and supportive ethos. Our Sunnymede Values of Excellence, Respect, Friendship, Determination and Courage underpin everything we do. We have strong links with the adjacent Junior School, and other schools within the Billericay Community Trust .

We are also pleased to have this  web-site where parents/guardians can find a wealth of information about the school, policies and resources to support children in their learning at school and at home. We hope that you enjoy your visit to our website, and that you find any information you are looking for. Please feel free to contact the school directly with any queries you may have.
