Information for parents:

PE: This half term will be tennis, this will take place on a Wednesday morning. Please ensure that your child comes to school in their PE kit on this day.

Library: The children will visit the school Library once a week. All children will be able to choose a book from the Library to take home and share. Please do ensure this book is kept in your child's bookbag.

Reading books: The children will begin to bring reading materials home after half term once we have covered the 'Set One' sound in our phonics sessions.

Homework: Please support your child to work at their own pace with the tasks on Mathseeds, Reading Eggs and the Maths Challenge.

Important Notice - P.E. Days

Otters Class have P.E. timetabled for Wednesday for the first half of the Summer Term 2023.

Please ensure that children come to school already dressed in their P.E. kit and that jewellery is not worn on this day.

Please be aware that it is sometimes necessary to swap P.E. days and that we will give you as much notice as possible when this occurs.

If children with pierced ears are wearing their ear rings on P.E. days then they must be able to remove them themselves as staff are not permitted to do so. To find out more about Health & Safety during P.E. sessions please consult the school policy.
